Do you have the right Beliefs For Success? Do you have the success, the relationships and the life you want? Do you feel like you’re stuck or something is holding you back from getting what you want? If so, it most likely means that your beliefs don’t align with your goals and life purpose. You need to check your beliefs for success.
Immutable Universal Laws and Principles
There are certain universal laws and principles that exist independent and immutable from you. Whether or not you know about or believe the law or principle, the law or principle still exists and you are subject to the law or principle.
For example, if you were to jump out of a window from a 20 story building Newton’s universal law of gravitation determines what will happen to you. You will fall to the earth and suffer the consequences regardless of whether you have knowledge of the law or believe the law.
Your Belief System
Your belief system is based on your prior experiences. These experiences range from how you grew up, your environment and the feedback you have received in the form of positive and negative consequences resulting from your reactions to people and external forces.
Beliefs are very personal because they are tied to an emotion. Emotion is a strong motivator. You will hold on and fight over your belief because it’s anchored to an emotion…even if that emotion does not serve you.
Just because you are very sincere about your belief doesn’t mean your belief is correct according to universal principles and will serve your greater purpose or create the happiness you want.
To determine if your belief system serves you look at whether you are getting the results or achieving the goals you have for yourself. If not, then most likely you need to shift your mindset and your beliefs.
Shift Your Mindset and Beliefs For Success
Many people choose not to do personal development because personal growth and development requires that you honestly look in the mirror and challenge your beliefs, admit your mistakes, take responsibility for your actions and change your actions and beliefs to better serve you and others.
The hardest thing for people to do is change. It’s much easier to place the responsibility of change to people and things outside of yourself. But then you are giving your power away because you can only change yourself. If you want something different you must create the change within yourself to produce another outcome.
How do you find those beliefs and behavior that will produce the success and life that you want? You have to look at those people who have the success that you want. Study their behavior, their habits then do what they do.
All successful people follow a set of proven universal laws of success. If you don’t do the actions that successful people do then you will never have success.
Steps To Create Beliefs For Success
To change your belief systems that will align with the success that you desire and the person you want to become follow these three steps:
1. Identify your belief: Pay attention to your emotional reactions to events. This emotion will help you identify a principle that you need to work on. Also, if you are not getting the success you want are you doing the daily actions that will produce success? Make a list of personal beliefs you have about yourself. If they are limiting beliefs, make an affirmation that replaces this limiting belief to one that serves you. For example, tell yourself, “I am a worthy leader and people follow me for inspiration.”. Create 6-8 affirmations and read them out loud to yourself each morning.
2. Educate yourself: As you grow personally your success will grow. This is a universal principle that cannot be argued. You need to invest time and money into your own personal growth and make this part of your daily routine. As you invest in daily personal development through reading and listening to material from successful people, your mindset will switch from a position of lack, self-pity and powerlessness to confidence, empowerment, purpose. You will have the mindset and you will learn the skills to become the leader and achieve the success that others have achieved.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2: As you educate yourself with daily personal development you will begin to notice certain behaviors that don’t align with universal laws of success. This is a life-long journey. People who have committed to becoming successful leaders in life have also committed to a lifetime of personal growth, implementing what they learn and then teaching what they have learned.
