Do you want to know how to capture and close prospects online for your home business? Your ability to capture and close prospects is key to growing your business and building your personal brand online.
First of all it’s important for you to understand marketing when you are building any business. Marketing is just a communication method used by you, the business owner, to create income by selling products and services to your market (prospect) that solve their problems or fulfills their needs and wants.
Online Marketing & Lead Conversion Tools
There are many types of marketing strategies and tools available for online marketing and growing your business. I use a complete training and online marketing system called, My Lead Systems Pro, or MLSP for short.
MLSP provides the most complete and advanced training for online marketing. Then MLSP also has systems in place to help you capture and ultimately convert leads into paying customers and business partners. The top earners in the industry use this system to attract, capture and close leads online. Once you learn and use this system to generate, track and convert leads you won’t use anything else. That’s my personal belief.
Three Steps To Directing Leads
Moving a potential lead from the point of getting their attention on your product or business opportunity to the point of having them buy your product or service requires three steps, called the 3 C’s. These steps are: capture, connect and close.
A capture page is how you get the information of the person who has an interest in what you’re marketing or promoting.
Your capture page is like the store front of your business. The goal is to direct people to your capture page with content from your blog post, social media post or your advertising. People visit, then enter their information on your capture page in exchange for the value you are providing them. The capture page is the front door of your business.
There are many marketing strategies for every social media platform out there. MLSP provides in-depth training on the marketing strategies and techniques shown by top income producing leaders in the industry to provide the best results. Because there are so many marketing strategies and various platforms, you should master a single marketing system and strategy until you are generating at least 5 leads each day before you move on to another strategy. If you try to learn more than one strategy at a time you will have little to no success at any of them.
Once you have captured your lead you need to connect with them as soon as possible.
Remember that these people have provided you their information because they need something from you. Now it’s your job to follow-up with them to welcome them, thank them for their interest, learn their need then provide them a solution which may convert that lead into a sale or a new business partner. You can start this conversation online, but you need to move the conversation offline by phone quickly to better connect with your prospect and build that relationship.
For online marketing, the “connect” process follows this process:
lead generation => auto-responder => online contact => offline contact => build rapport => determine the need => offer solution => conversion
Your contact page should be linked to an auto-responder email system. I use GetResponse. Your auto-responder allows you to automate communication with your prospects through email. This lets you provide more timely communication and helps you better identify and serve the needs of your prospects. You can try GetResponse for free! Just click the image:
Your first automated email to your lead should be delivered immediately after they submit their information from the capture page. MLSP provides about 30 pre-written emails you can use if you need ideas for the first and additional automated emails. Your first email to your lead must have a post-script (PS) message/signature “call to action” telling them to call you or connect with you on Facebook. Of course make sure you include this information in the “PS”.
Then find them on Facebook using their email address or name. Reach out to them, note why you are reaching out to them and ask: Why did they opt in to your page? What are they struggling with? and other qualifying questions. You are trying to learn their need.
If the lead provided their phone number, call them. It’s your duty to call them immediately. It’s best to call within the first 5 minutes of their opting into your capture page since you are virtually in front of them and they are most likely available to chat. When you get them on the call just start the conversation with, “Hey I noticed you just provided me your information and you were looking at my capture page…checking out my free training.” Just start the conversation relative to what they opted into.
The final step is the close. In closing your lead/prospect your job is to learn their need, their struggle, their pain, and then point them to the right direction for what will provide the best solution accordingly. To start the closing you need to get them on the phone. Once you get them on the phone start asking questions qualifying questions. you keep control of the conversation by asking questions. There is great training in MLSP for what to say and how to close your lead.
You need to ask questions like: what attracted or inspired them to opt into your page (for training or the free giveaway you are offering)? What are they struggling with? What is their business? What is their #1 obstacle? The more questions you ask the more you can pull the answers from them and better identify and offer the right solution for them.
The solution could be your affiliate product, your business opportunity, your training videos or your coaching program. You will only know how to help them and point to the right solution for them by asking them the right qualifying questions.
