How do you create content that attracts and converts? By content I mean information that you are sharing with your intended audience through a blog post, video marketing or a post on social media.
Successful content will attracts your ideal customer by solving their problem(s) while creating sufficient curiosity to where they need to take action to get more information.
Content Format To Attract And Convert
Below, I share the basic components of content and then some tips to help you attract your ideal audience and then convert them into a lead.
The first step in preparing your content is to identify your target market. This is the audience that you are trying to attract for the information you are providing. For example, are these people who want to lose or maintain weight?
Identify a problem that your target market has. Here you’re trying to tap into their pain. Customers buy from emotion. The stronger the emotion you can stir within your audience the more attraction and engagement you will get.
Provide the solution to the problem you just identified that your target market has. For people who want to lose weight you could list two to three things that help people lose weight. For example:
- Increase your consumption of fresh vegetables and fruits.
- Don’t eat anything after 6:00 PM unless it’s a low fat protein snack.
People want social proof that the solution you are providing actually provides results. Third party testimonials are very impactful here. Get people who have had good results share their story. Third party social proof helps to validate your solution because it’s independent from you.
To help draw home your solution or your points pull in quotes from other sources recognized as authoritative. For example, in the “increase your vegetable and fruit consumption” point above you could reference a study showing how people lost x amount of weight by increasing their fresh fruit and vegetable intake y amount each day over z days or weeks.
Share with your audience a tool that will help them be successful in solving their problem or make the solution you have presented easier to take action on. For example, perhaps you have a capsule that will help people burn fat or reduce their hunger. Or perhaps you have a product that has all the fruits and vegetables they need in a drink form.
If your tool is the product or service you are promoting it’s important that you create curiosity here. You do this by sharing the benefits your product provides and how it solves their problem WITHOUT telling or showing them the name of your product or company.
Call To Action
You want to end your content by telling your audience what to do next. This is called a call to action. For example, if you just shared how effortlessly your product helps you lose weight tell them to leave a comment or message you if they want more information about the product you are sharing.

Nothing helps to attract and convert more people into leads than live streamed video. This is because people get to know your personality immediately. This helps them connect, like and trust you much faster. When people know, like and trust you they will join your business or buy from you.
Convert More By Connecting With Your Leads
The people who engage with your content by commenting, liking, sharing or messaging you are called leads. It’s important that you reach out to these people. Send them a private message thanking them for their engagement. Then ask how you can serve them.
