Who should learn online marketing? Any person who wants to have a successful business or a successful career. This includes, entrepreneurs, accountants, corporate executives, real estate agents, or anyone wanting to make an impact in any industry or profession.
For entrepreneurs, the key to success is marketing to people about your business whether you have a brick and mortar business or a virtual business online. Surveys show that 95% of consumers do research online before they make their final purchase. If you don’t have a website online to attract your market to your products or services, you could be missing out on a huge market share. In addition, the reality of the market is that if you don’t have an online presence you will most likely be out of business within the next 5 years.
Personal Branding For Professionals
Some of the Fortune 500 companies see the upcoming trend for professionals to brand themselves online. These companies anticipate that professional branded websites will replace resumes and will identify the type of professionals they want to pursue for job offers or consulting services. A professional’s branded website is where the professional can set themselves apart from their competition. The professional can market their worth by highlighting and quantifying their career successes, money saved or sales generated for employers or clients, and also provide additional value to the market with instructional or educational articles or videos.
